Universities and Industry Partners

Recordings may be made available to Digdata members and may include snippets for promotional purposes. All data sharing is conducted under contractual terms with the participating organisation.

For face to face events, we may collect DBS checks where required, and these will be shared only as needed with the hosting school or college.

Digdata Members

When you participate in events or challenges, your personal information (name, school, email) may be used to:

  • Award certification for challenges or events you participate in
  • Keep a record of your participation, available on request.

Library Resources

Membership gives full access to Digdata’s library resources. Registration for a resource automatically makes you a Digdata member and enables participation in live events.

If a teacher, lecturer, or supervisor registers you, we collect the personal information they provide to:

  • Award certification for challenges or events you participate in
  • Register you as a Digdata member
  • Notify you about upcoming events, activities, or opportunities that may be of interest.

You may unsubscribe or opt out at any time using the link included in all emails.

We do not share any personal information with schools, colleges, or universities unless they have completed a Data Processing Agreement. Limited personal information may be shared with schools, colleges, and universities only to deliver services, send reminders, or provide event access, in line with legal requirements.

Cookies are placed only when you submit a registration form. No cookies are placed during browsing or via the Contact Us form. Our registration system uses HubSpot; please refer to their cookie policy for details.

You can contact us via the website form, providing your name and email, so we can respond to queries.

 

Children
Membership is available from year 7 upwards. For children under 13,  parental consent is required. Without it, registration will not be completed.

Digdata Members

We also share limited personal information with schools, colleges and universities only to deliver services, send reminders, or provide event access, in line with legal requirements.

  • The Student Room (for promoting registrations)
  • Schools and colleges hosting events
