For example: Whatever you like and follow on Facebook or Instagram whether that is cute animals, video games or food, you will notice that adverts appearing in your feed or stories will be related to your interests online.

The reason for this? Our advertising platform recognises what you are interested in and gives you adverts it knows you will like!

The Marketing Science team’s mission is to help all business grow by improving the way they advertise their products or services using social media.

We help our clients solve a variety of problems, from achieving more sales to increasing brand exposure, while providing engaging and relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram.

Our team uses a range of skills, such as: creative thinking, problem solving, data literacy and storytelling to solve these problems.

WhatsApp is the coolest way to chat with friends and family all over the world, with over two billion users! To keep it the best messaging app ever, we want to add new features that make chatting even more fun and safe.

Goal: Join Meta’s Marketing Science team to help make WhatsApp even more amazing by giving everyone the features they want most!

Your Mission: We asked 300 people of all ages what they’d love to see next. Now, we need your help to figure out which features to focus on:

  1. Safety Online: Keep your chats private and secure.
  2. Animations and Filters: Add cool effects and fun to your messages.
  3. Live Location: Share where you are in real time with friends.

What this career challenge will involve.

  1. Find Out What Each Age Group Loves: See what teens, young adults, adults, and seniors think is the coolest feature.
  2. Make a Plan: Decide which feature to develop first for each age group based on their favourites.

Ignite the Future of Athletic Excellence: Athlemax Joins Forces with Gold Medallist Riley Storm to Launch Game-Changing Trainers!

Wednesday 16th October at 5pm

Athlemax, a global sporting brand, is launching a new line of trainers and has partnered with British Olympic champion Riley Storm to promote them. They are planning to support the launch with an Instagram campaign aimed at increasing user ad engagement and driving visitors to their website to boost sales. To achieve this they have created three ads: one featuring a static image of the trainers, another showcasing Storm wearing the trainers, and a video of Storm running whilst wearing the trainers.

Goal: Join Meta’s Marketing Science team to help Athlemax understand which ad or ads will be the most effective at meeting their goals.
